Writing is more than just the act of dragging a pen across a piece of paper; more than leaving behind a trail of words. It’s a way of immortalising thoughts and feelings on your page, of immunising them against any kind of hardship or struggle. Writing can be the enchanted entrance leading to an array of different worlds and characters, all just waiting to be discovered and brought to life by you. Or, it might be the expression of feelings long built up inside of you and finally freed, like a bird from a golden cage.

To me, though, writing is like dreaming. It can come as natural as breathing, or be the hardest thing in the world. But once an idea has formed and an entire story unfolds right in front of your very eyes, it is one of the most rewarding feelings ever. la petite lis’ blanche is my way of sharing this feeling with all of those willing to read my stories. It’s a writing blog founded in Vienna, Austria (2017) and – naturally – it has a story of its own.

“Words are, in my not-so-humble opinion, our most inexhaustible source of magic. Capable of both inflicting injury, and remedying it.”
